DiffMerge is a curious free tool that lets the user compare and fuse files in three operating systems: Windows, Mac OS X and Unix.

It contains the following tools: Diff (it shows the differences between two files at first glance, and includes support for editing images), Merge (it shows the changes among the three files and lets you automatically fuse them and control them to edit the final product), and Folder Diff (to make comparisons of two folders, showing which files in one are in another).

DiffMerge lets you configure it deeply. It also comes prepared to work with codifications of 42 different characters.
